Bored of the old Ibanez RG series shape?
Looking for a more stable tuning guitar unlike the floating bridge system?
How bout this, the Ibanez Archtop RG, RGA 42, under then RGA series!
Ibanez RGA 42 Black
Specifications:
Construction: 25.5" Bolt-on All Access Neck Joint (AANJ)
Body: Mahogany
Neck: 3pc Wizard II Maple
Frets: 24 Jumbo Frets
Bridge: Gibraltar Standard Bridge
Bridge Pickup: LZ-3B Active pickup
Neck Pickup: LZ-3N Active pickup
Controls: Master Volume, Active EQ Toggle, 3-way blade switch
Finishing: Black
What's the upper hand on the RGA compare to the RG?
The RGA comes in a Mahogany body, for a warmer and richer tone.
Next, the shape, the looks! Archtop has always been facinating! (Like ESP Horizon series)
And for me, extra added points for the Body Binding on the RGA42!
Fixed bridge system, lessen the hassle for tuning stability.
For those who always complain bout Ibanez EDGE 3 unstable bridges, maybe u can try to have a fixed bridge instead :p
RGA42 comes with Gibraltar Standard fixed bridge. Looks awesome isnt it?
One of the very few, the Ibanez LZ3 Active Pickups, Ibanez Original active pickups!
The LZ3 humbuckers are higher output compare to the LZ4 pickups on the higher end RGA series.
The LZ3 pickups produces a fat sound with good clarity for distortion, and if tweaked will produce a balance clean sound!
Traditional Ibanez headstock
Full neck and headstock binding. Additionals points for outlook!
Ibanez 2010 designed truss rod cover (which previously only available on the GIO series only, i dont know why) gives player the comfort to maintain their guitar.
No more screwdrivers needed to remove the cover
Here's a diagram explanation for the RGA Active EQ
The active EQ is specially designed to function with the LZ3 pickups, to control the output and providing a pure tone free of noise
Attractive isnt it?
With the looks, the binding, the pickups, the EQ.....
Now the RGA is all ready to rock!
For players who are looking for tuning stability, and often changes guitar tuning for a wide variation of music, you can conside the Ibanez RGA 42
Note: For budget below RM1500!
